Your equipment that requires maintenance and / or calibration tasks would be registered in the software. Components that forms part of the equipment can optionally be registered should these require different maintenance or calibration tasks to be performed at different frequencies.
The types of task for both calibration and maintenance can be pre-defined as required. Multiple tasks can be planned for each of the equipment and / or its components if different types of tasks are required. Tasks are planned by specifying the date, frequency and responsible person. When a task is completed, the next due task is automatically schedulled according to the defined frequency.
Various schedules are provided in the software to manage and complete the planned tasks. Automatic reminders are sent to the responsible person that is allocated to a task. The timeframe before task reminder emails are sent can be specified. Once a task record is completed and the necessary file attachments have been made as required, the task record can be closed out.
Risks can be identified as related to the maintenance and calibration of the equipment and components. Precautions or instructions can be specified to minimise these risks as required.
A list of checks to be performed or work requirements to be carried out can be prepared in the software for each of the equipment and for each component of the equipment. When tasks are planned, the required items to be applied would be selected from the list of checks or requirements that are defined.
A breakdown record can be logged in the software and allocated to a responsible person. Planned calibration or maintenace tasks can be placed on hold as required. As part of the breakdown, component repair records can be logged. The defective component can be swapped out with components located in storage or the repair record completed as applicable. Once the breakdown record is closed out, the planned tasks which were placed on hold will be reinstated.
Equipment or components that are in storage can be registered in the software and the required maintenance and / or calibration tasks planned. The planned tasks will not form part of the schedule until it is moved to an in-process location.
Maintenance jobs that are not part of planned calibration or maintenance can be logged in the software. Lists of outstanding and completed requests are available.
